L397 Alenquer Tiger Pleco

 
The L397 Alenquer Tiger Pleco (Panaqolus sp.) hails from the Lower Amazon River, near Alenquer, Portugal.  The fish you receive will be unsexed and between 1.25" and 1.50". These plecos can grow up to 5" in length. They are known for their pretty orange and black bands on the fins and body. As they age, the pattern can change. These are peaceful, community tank fish that enjoy a vegetable & wood based diet, but will readily devour a meat based sinking stick as well.
We recommend our Chris's Fishes Veggie Wafers, but they also love any of the mini sticks.
